Trommer doesn't really care if the spellbooks he carries get destroyed if the backback fails a save. His suggestion was for any mage who might want to encase/wrap the books in an extra layer of protection of demon skin. Team Dervish is welcome to their trophies. Trommer will endeavor not be so presumtuous in the future to suggest that such a thing would help. I wasn't chiding you for being presumptuous, I was alerting people that they have plans already for what they're taking. Colby will remind Mr. Trommer that he's not carrying any spell books anymore.

Trommer hadn't noticed the backpack being lighter (probably due to the heavy iron helm). Does that mean Colby is carry his dragonhide backpack? I don't recall who paid for it. Trommer was also not aware (paying attention) to the Dervishes taking all the demon skin. His apologies.

Since Mr. Trommer is more likely to have a backpack full of useful party treasure, Colby is happy to continue letting him borrow it. Colby paid 200 GP to have it made. Consider it collateral for his loan for now.

Paavo will take a trophy from one of the dead demons - nothing too large but evidence to someone who knows about these demon that it was from a demon. Might be useful if we are dealing with desert halflings or the priest that hangs out here.

Paavo will take a trophy from one of the dead demons - nothing too large but evidence to someone who knows about these demon that it was from a demon. Might be useful if we are dealing with desert halflings or the priest that hangs out here. Maybe one of their teeny little claws.

If Haddiq doesn't think there is any problem with taking the symbol, then that is what Paavo will take. Should be less encumbering than a head or a giant claw.

Can Haddiq explain why or how the demons are bound to this place? He knows the Seal binds them to this plane, but nothing more than that. They've been bound to the Ovens of Ar-Gar for centuries. Presumably it's by the Seal? The Seal of Suleiman, also known as the Ring of Aandaleeb, was a mighty artifact given to the Prophet-King Suleiman bin Daoud in the olden times by the Archangels, and with it he bound angels, demons and djinn to his service.

The updated encumbrance is at home, so I'll have to get it later. The actual weight of a human/demihuman doesn't have too much bearing on how much they encumber a camel, GP wgt encumbrance being a factor of a number of things: size, weight, wieldiness, etc. As the party invested in saddles and tack for their camels humans are going to encumber approximately 1500wgt. and demihumans a fraction thereof, in addition to their equipment. I will add in a camel encumbrance/movement rate to each character sheet and update the party as to their remaining capacities. Did you get a chance to work out these numbers?

Some notes:
total should be 50 Paavo woven shield ( 2 ) x 25 = 5
encumbrance of gold should be 1 Paavo gold dinar ( 8 ) x 0.1 = 0.8 Dan gold dinar ( 9 ) x 0.1 = 0.9
I thought this was left in the vault Trommer Stormcaller Horn ( 1 ) x 200 = 200
I thought Mamnoon came with more equipment - like chain mail (60%) and a composite bow.
Nordel and Friedrich need to figure out what they are storing on other camels. They only have a total of 1000 GP encumbrance to split. Maybe they could borrow the deep pocket robes. This will be interesting. camel: (Nordel & Friedrich) carried:6626.6 wgt allow:4000 avail:-2626.6

Do Strength spells work on camels? I am guessing not since they don't count as a person.
With the current party encumbrance we need at least 9 camels. Using the q-box to store additional stuff would get us down to 8 camels.
Does Friedrich currently have a shadow? Does that mean animals no longer react badly to him? If so then he can ride the extra camel and we can redistribute the stuff it is carrying. Did we purchase an additional saddle and harness?

What's the encumbrance value that we use up in each day's consumed supplies?
For consistency's sake, note that Mary's Deeppockets robe encumbers her for 30 and Colby's doesn't encumber him at all because you deemed it part of his clothes.
I know that the dervishes won't carry loot, but will they help carry our common supplies on their camels?

All the camels came fully loaded, Khaddil saw to that.

Yeah. There will be a much closer accounting of camels this session: in combat, while traveling, etc.
I will admit that last time there was no real accounting at all except when it was convenient to save a 1st level character from death.

As has been stated, Mamnoon does not advertize that he is anything less than a muscular guy with a large scimitar. He will not demonstrate his powers or share their existence with anyone in the party but Youssef. He rides a camel. He doesn't fly around or turn invisible.

I don't think Mamnoon is hedged by the PfE. Jannee are native to the Prime Material Plane. Also the demons we fought don't require a magic weapon.
