How are we going to handle invading a temple of evil Nerul-worshiping giants? Assuming there is such a thing, of course.
The only strategy we've used so far is to bash in the front door and have everyone in the building come out to fight us. This is always an option, but it's quite likely to be fatal to our front-line fighters. If they have ranged weapons - and I would imagine that they would - it'll probably be fatal to the poorly armored types in back (Winthrop and Liato). Plus, if this place is more powerful than the last, it will likely have more powerful creatures. The Pelorites are strong against the undead, but we'll probably be up against powerful magic and tough fighters as well.
Tactics?
First, we need good scouting. There are three characters that I see as capable of doing the recon - the druid, the ranger/cleric, and the M-U/Thief. I figure we'll count the guards, see how many people there are to fight - that sort of thing.
Best of all would be to find a secret exit. If we could find the secret exit, that would let us bypass most of their defenses and get closer to the leaders without being weakened by door guards and giant waves of zombies. Or waves of giant zombies. The ranger would be best at this, because of both his tracking skills and his elven heritage. It's not too likely, though.
Who's got ideas for tactics?

We should probably lead with the ranger/cleric, who can cast find traps. We should also have a stone or arrow with silence cast on it. This will allow us to move quickly and quietly.

Here are some scouting things I can maybe do.
If it's a free standing temple I can maybe make us a secret door.
I can ask the animals if they have seen anyone (goblins) going in and out of different places to find alternate entrences.
I can scrye on the building to do recon. If I see someone walk in I can maybe scrye on that person to get a general layout. Alternately we could do a modified trojan horse thing where we leave an object that we think they'll bring inside. I could then scrye on the object. Maybe Dell could place an object on someone.
It might be good to just stakeout the temple for a couple days once we find it. I can prepare a bunch of berries for everyone in the few days we stakeout.
Once inside, I think as long as we have some plan we should be okay. The problems come when we sit for 30 minutes figuring out what path to go down.
I would say that if we can breach the door without making too much of a fuss we should just pick a marching order and then start moving quickly taking our cues from whoever is in front. Dell can scout invisibly and figure out if we should go left or right. Then we'll all go. If someone hides we all try to hide. If someone fights we all try to fight.
In order for Dell to be able to scout once inside we need to figure what his priorities are.
There are a couple strategies.
We could try to pick off all the underlings as we go so that we don't have to fight them all at once.
We could try to sneak inside and ambush the leaders so that we can kill them before they can summon their underlings.
We could sneak inside and try to sabatoge things and then run. We have some good CYA running away spells.
It'd be nice to know how many troops we are dealing with. If it's not that many than the sabatoge plan could work pretty well.
