Magic resistance only works against spells cast directly on them. Thus, we should focus on spells which buff the fighters. Since the drow priestess has an AC of -9, we'll need all of the bonuses we can get. Strength, invisibility, Prot. from Evil, Run, and Monster Summoning 3 will all be helpful. Do we have Flame Arrow?

Does Run actually increase your movement rate?

It has a good duration. (5-8 hours)

I thought that your movement rate was doubled during the duration and halved for the same duration afterwards. In a situation like this where we're reasonably confident that we're almost at the end, it might be worth it.

Explanation/Description: The run spell enables the recipient to run at full speed (twice normal speed) for from 5-8 hours without tiring. However, after so running the individual must spend a like number of hours resting, as well as drinking plenty of liquids and eating heartily. For every 2 levels of experience of the spell caster, another individual can be affected, Le. at 4th level, 2 individuals can be touched and empowered to run; at 6th level, 3 individuals; etc.

This is the correct interpretation of the spell. We have house ruled it.
