So the bone demon is fighting on our side? Yep. One of Dell's creations. The creature has 96hp and 5 attacks, all with respectable damage. It's really quite a morale booster.

There is also an unknown number of demons hiding in the darkness down the corridor.

Is the bone demon allowed to gate in other demons to fight for us?

Is the bone demon allowed to gate in other demons to fight for us? :o I don't think that would be wise. There's no reason to expect that demons summoned by a creature we summoned would be friendly. We're also not positive it's a demon. It could be some sort of weird bone golem monster instead. When thinking about the bone demon encroaching onto our circles of protection, I had a thought. Can Fido get inside them? Is he a summoned creature? Or just a magic item turned fleshy for a few hours?

I just figured there was a transitive property in demon summoning. Certainly the demons gated in by the demon that the drow summoned are working towards the drow's goals. Why shouldn't any demon that we are in control of likewise use lower power demons to accomplish our aims. Of course if it isn't a demon then all bets are off.
For that matter once you kill the initial demon what is to keep the extra demons from attacking the drow or other demons instead of us? Demons are only cooperating with the drow because they are coerced, so once the coercing force is gone they are free to do as they like.

At that point, the creature dropped every weapon and grappled Otto and teleported. It came back, with no Otto. Perrin was then grappled and vanished. New rule - whenever fighting demons we hold hands so that collectively we are too heavy to teleport away.

Silly fighters. Just go on stabbing things with the pointy end and don't worry about it.
Fido and this "bone demon" are magical creatures given life, not summoned creatures from another plane. Thus they are not hedged by the Protection from Evil 10' radius.
Also the newly summoned demons are minions of the more powerful vassal demons, that probably all swear fealty to Lloth Demon Queen of Spiders. The dark elves must still pay them well in blood and sacrifices for their service- and the demons are smart enough not to eat their meal ticket.

Given that the demons are milling about, unable to attack us and watching us methodically kill their comrades, they should have to have a moral check of some type to avoid leaving or attacking their buddies. Hopefully the addition of the bone demon might convince them that some of the demons are already turning on eachother and encourage them to join in.
