To sum it up: Diego was eaten by a very hungry pack of ghouls. Winthrop was the lucky one to fly into a very angry skeltal warrior with a sharp two-handed sword. He died. The bony guy was really intent on finding the half-elf. Dell and Oaklock decided to travel quickly to Gorna. This left the rest of the split party to deal with the other under frineds.

Pretty much.
We handled Kay-Tarn admirably. Wait, no.

Winthrop got better. Diego did not. Once Dell left to go on a elvish vacation the dead guys lost interest with the rest of the party and left to join the elf blood on their merry vacation. A little while later Raven did note that his Luck Stone was not with him.

Raven needs to keep better track of his posessions. And leave my skeleton buddy alone!

I will definately leave him alone from now on. Being hit by that sword six times in two rounds was enough for me. He is all yours. He wasn't interested in speaking to anyone else anyway. Definately our oversight there.

Summary:
After collecting themselves and the refugees of Flen to the west of the fallen city, the party decided to head west to Karmack's Tower. During the time in the woods to the east of Flen, Antonus discovers that his mind has expanded and his casting abilities have been augmented. Eig also discovers some hitherto-unknown capabilities, but opts to keep these talents secret, fearing his survival may be in jeopardy.
The party opted to take the long way around Flen and this cost them many days of travel. During this time, the party is followed by a dust cloud, some number of days behind them. Despite borrowing Winthrop's spyglass, Eig could not determine the idetity of the people following them. The followers seem to have left the trail when the party crossed the longitudinal line with Flen.
Some number of days later, Otto notices that the party is being watched during his turn to guard the camp. He, Raven, Jasper, Winthrop, and <someone else> go to investigate the watcher. Winthrop opts to scout in the form of a Gargoyle, flying above the others. As the party splits in two, the scouting party is found to be surrounded by warriors bashing their swords to their shields.
At this moment, the remaining member of the party are confronted by what seems to be walking suits of armor. The suits do not attack immediately, rather they ask in a haunting voice "Which one of you is the leader." The party, having been split up, attempts to indicate that the leader is in the other groups, and the undead grudgingly accept this as fact. Antonus, seeing that the might of the group has caused the undead to quake in their boots, waves his lighted staff in an attempt to banish them from his sight. However, the undead do not take kindly to this, and quickly beset the fractured party. Soon, the scouting party hears the sounds of battle and attempts to come to their comrade's aide, only to be beset by ravenous undead. Winthrop, flying high in the air, assists the scouting party with his magics, but is quickly beset upon by a terrible flying beast. The beast, wielding a massive two-handed sword, quickly fells Winthrop, even as the battle rages below.
The fractured group is unable to destroy the undead who attack them and the flying beast demands to see the Half-Elf. One of the attacking undead, seeing Dell clearly for the first time, yells to the leader "I've found him! I've found the Half-Elf!" Shortly after this, Dell and Oaklock disappear under mysterious circumstances. The undead, noting that Dell has fled, quickly depart, leaving the party to count the wounded. Antonus and Eig have fallen during the fight, but are only unconcious, and are quickly revivified. However, their annoyed collegue, Winthrop, is still dead. Thinking quickly, Hugh removes a Potion of the Knot from Winthrop's backpack, and feeds it to him, allowing him to return to life. Raven, seeing as a litle luck may be needed, attempts to give Withrop the Luckstone to ensure his resurrection, but he can no longer find the stone! Fortunately, Winthrop is revived, though he does inform the party that he will be significantly more cross for quite some time.
After this escapade, plans are made to continue the march into Sterich, and meet up with Dell and Oaklock.
After a few more days of travel, the party happenes upon the River Javan, now desolate due to the undead army marching through the countryside. At the river, the party, whole this time, encounters a rather odd boatman, who refuses to take certain coins. The boatman seems to radiate a strange gloom, and will only ferry them one way across the river, which looks increasing like a mythological river whenever they glance upon it. The boatman never leaves the boat, but is able to encounter the party face-to-face, which seems odd, but not many notice, and the party moves along.
Upon landing on the other side of the River Javan, the party encounters a city of zombies and, after turning many to dust, leaves the now-cursed city. Upon traveling through the wilderness of now-corrupt Sterich, the party is beset in the middle of the night by a pack of ghouls, which kill Diego before being destroyed by the party. Almost immediately after the party defeats the ghouls, they are beset by a pack of hovering, mysterious undead, which are quickly slain or shown the light of the true gods. Diego remains dead, and much of the party regrets the decision to go to Sterich, particularly EatsSalmon, who was promised a sheep, but has yet to recieve one.
Hope this helps, did my best.

Nice recap. Pfiffwin was the other party member to go searching with Otto.
Also most of the fighters are strength drained and do not seem to be getting better. We have tried remove curse, dispel magic and cure disease so far. Any other ideas? Bath/drink in holy water. Remove paralysis. Negative plane protection. A warm bath. If all else fails we can use the ring of wishes to restore us once we catch up with Dell.

The "Winthrop Notes" version is an abridged account of the story.

My thought was that the pervasive gloom covering Sterich has somehow enhanced the strength-draining effects of the undead and recovery won't be possible without actual sunlight. When in doubt a Heal spell will cure pretty much everything.
