The Haste spell gives, among other things, an extra action, with the limitation that the action can only be Attack (one weapon only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object.
What exactly does "(one weapon only)" mean?
Does it mean that if you make a weapon attack with your extra action, you only get one extra attack, even if you could normally make more than one weapon attack per Attack action (e.g. fighters who get multiple attacks per Attack)?
Or does it mean that your extra action can't be a non-weapon attack, such as a grapple or a bite?
If it can be a non-weapon attack, what about a hasted creature that normally makes multiple non-weapon attacks, e.g. a bite and a claw? Does it get an extra of each?

I'd guess a grapple is ok, but it is definitely limiting high level fighters to 1 weapon attack. Keeps the 3rd level spell from being dominant at high levels.

Attack is a specific action, if a creature has "multi-attack" then it will claw/bite or claw/claw/bite twice.
One weapon only implies to me that you can't switch weapons for the extra attack, from sword to bow for instance.
