Next stop: orc\troll\ettin steading. With a little more XP, we will hit 7th level. I think Polymorph and Banishment will be great spells for fighting giants. Charisma or Wisdom saves are probably poor for them, and taking a big opponent out of the fight until we have mopped up the others will be great.

Clerics get very little from 7th level. One 4th level spell and hit points. Though getting to use lower level spells with that slot could be cool.

I think Quarion gets the best of 7th level, with uncanny dodge letting him save for no damage and second level arcane trickster spells.

And 4d6 sneak attacks. Ridiculous. Clerics' healing certainly doesn't keep up the with damage other classes can do.

Poring through the rules gave me some ideas to get Ginger out of the crocodile's mouth. It also gave me ideas for new characters if he gets devoured.
Shove attack? That would break the grapple, but you cannot shove a creature more than one size larger, and the crocodile is too big.
Trip attack? Knocking a creature prone will not break the grapple.
With advantage, i think he will have a slightly less than 60% chance to chew me. I won't last more than 2 hits, so I will be dead in 3 rounds at best. So, I guess I just try to break the grapple and hope for the best.
Otherwise, look for a Barbarian, Bard or Paladin!

Did Quarion pick 2nd level spells? He gets them at level 7.

Can we check the items we got from the sunken pleasure dome for magic? Does this town have access to all the standard potions we can purchase? Anything unique that we can purchase here? Any advice for traveling in the wizards' realm? Precautions to take?
I have those berries we got from the shaman in the woods. Can we sell/exchange those for other potions?

Can we get some town rumors on the board, or will we do that all in game?
