Djavelburg:
Abandoned suddenly hundreds of years ago following some unknown catastrophe, many valuables left behind.
Lower Djavelburg is occupied by the "Butcher of Pells" and his cohort of fiends & hobgoblins.
House Hallander offers a substantial reward (2000GP) to any bold adventurers who will brave Djavelburg and recover the lost arms & armor of Hugo Hallander who lead that ill-fated expedition to capture the mountain stronghold a several years back.
Hag's Crag:
A coven of witches live on this isolated peak, loosing vile curses and invocations on the world. Best avoided unless one has good reason to seek them out— terrible wisdom comes at a terrible price. They are served by trolls, harpies, ettercaps and evil fey creatures.
Lamentation Shrine:
A sorrowful shrine where a great hero lies sleeping and forgotten until darkness threatens to consume the world once more.
Muckbottom/Ogretown:
Ogretown is located in the gangrenous swamps and blight bogs of the Muckbuttom, at marshy base of the mountain.
Signs of ogres moving between the Muckbottom and the caves.
Increasing ogre activity around Lakeshore has prompted the Town Council to reinstate "Laraval's Tax," the old 50GP bounty on ogre heads, an ancient law dating back to the Ogre-Wars.
Primeval Forest:
Guy L'Risque and his woodsmen offer their service as guides for a price.
The Barrow of Evensong
-contains a mystical gate to the Feywild
-Sinasoo, elven ghost, asks that the party aid her in breaking the Curse of the Iron Shadow and defeating the witches of the Hag's Crag. To that end, seek out her allies Tannenbaum the Oaken-King and Amarielle the Guardian of the Forest.
Selvaster's Isle:
The wizard Selvaster makes his home on a small island on the lake. Will pay for dungeon/monster specimens/samples/lore obtained from the ruins.
Undead Ruins:
The renegade cleric Jarbart Bonecowl and his band of (evil) acolytes are known to conduct awful rites in & around the undead ruins, Jarbart is wanted dead/alive (500GP) by the Five Temples for heresy & necromancy.
