Another clarification:
In addition to having their movement and attacks doubled, hasted creatures will always act first in combat due to their speed.

This is actually spelled out explicitly in the PHB p. 105. Hasted creatures strike first. Slowed creatures strike last.

Oh, nifty.
So in addition to losing every other round action, Slowed characters should also always lose initiative?
The Slow spell in our campaign is House Ruled -- though I'm not sure it's necessary beyond the stacking part.
