Trommer volunteers to go forage for the blue flower or bind wound treatments when possible. He does not want to be stung again.

The blue flower is the poison antidote that grows somewhere on the north face of the volcano. It is guarded by gorgons. Maybe if you were invisible and flying it would be safe.
There is a different bush that the natives use to ward off the scorpion snakes. Danakes and Trommer should be able to navigate the forest with their ranger abilities in order to find more of this.
I don't know if there are the right plants for bind would treatments on the island.
Is Trommer up for salvaging the wreck? If we can get a Fly spell written then fighters should be able to make forays underwater in their full armor.

If we recover the treasure that we lost do we get the experience again? At this point it is salvage at high risk.
I'm for salvaging if we can do with more than one person. Before going in we should freshly kill some game animals. Then drop them in the water offshore a mile up shore from the current, letting the blood attract any sharks nearby. That should decrease the prescence of sharks that are drawn to the smell of blood. At least it should work in the real world. If I get my cauldron I could use it as a diving bell.
Isn't there another wreck near ours? Since we killed the megladon, any replacement shark should be the next in the pecking order and should be smaller. It is always more amusing to have your character die when you are not there.

Colby can swim down as a nixie to provide support with spells when we run into hostile animals. I could also use unseen servants to do some of the light lifting. I can also use clairvoyance to see what's down there before we go.

We would need to probably drop some light stones around/in/on the wreck in order for Colby to see with clairvoyance. Perhaps we could do the same for the other wreck.

Can we get a list of what we lost in the shipwreck? Do we have a good idea of where each item would have been stored - in the hull or the captain's quarters? Is anything in a chest or crates or otherwise sealed?
Some things may have been spilled from the ship when it was sundered. Maybe Ingrid could use Locate Object to find particular items we are looking for - Dan would volunteer but he doesn't have the constitution for underwater exploring.
Using Clairvoyance is definitely a good idea. We would probably need to use it twice to see the whole ship. Would Scry be more useful?
If we had water breathing then Ingrid could use Speak with Animals on the sharks to keep them friendly.
Force of Forbidment might be useful to keep something at bay.
We could try Monster Summoning while in the water to see if we got something that would be helpful for salvaging.

Do we have a good idea of where each item would have been stored - in the hull or the captain's quarters? Is anything in a chest or crates or otherwise sealed? It's going on a month since the party lost those items. At this point I'm not certain the party would have a ready inventory of missing items. You saw the list last week, do you remember it? I'm sure the majority of that dragon's hoard is posted somewhere on the board here, and an industrious player could look it up... I'm not sure you have a good idea where the items are stored, but I believe most of them were below decks. Did you specifically seal anything in a crate? Or put anything in a chest? (I don't recall you doing so) Finnious is not particularly inclined to learn Water Breathing as his spell for 6th level and he will make that known.

I assume the dragon treasure is still in the sacks we carried it in. Did Finn take any preparations to store his spellbooks, or did he just leave them sitting loose in the hull? With his intelligence I would think he would have taken better care of them. But I am continually surprised by our magic users and their libraries.

Considering the sacks are probably all still on your character sheets... I don't know if that's right. The items were most likely bundled and lashed together in the ship's hold. I'm hoping not to spend an inordinate amount of the session on the salvage operation. Unless of course you decide to investigate other wrecks.
Finnious is a genius magic-user who can speak like 8 languages and shape reality to his will with mystic formulae & arcane equations. He is not at all responsible however; and often leaves his spellbooks just lying around, almost absent-mindedly it seems.

Finn and Colby both bought fancy dragonskin backpacks, right? I know Colby gave his to Trommer since he carries more books than me. Maybe the second backpack is water tight? Or was it someone else who had the second backpack made?

Or was it someone else who had the second backpack made? Yes, Finnious is wearing the other black dragonhide backpack which is fairly water-resistant. Unfortunately he left the 600GP weight encumbrance of (2) spellbooks on the ship because they were too heavy and he didn't think it was going to sink...
