I have a couple questions regarding 2 handed weapon use:
Battle axe is d8/d10(against large size creatures)
1. Does the damage go up if Friedrich uses his weapon two handed. This is a weapon that is designed to be used one or two handed, iirc.
2. I know in 3E, (besides being able to do a "double move"HA) , one mechanic is that if you use weapons that can be wielded one or two-handed, you get 1.5 times your strength bonus to damage if you opt to go two-handed. Meaning that Friedrich would get +7 damage and Trommer and Marcus would get +9. Of course they don't get a shield bonus to AC.
Would this be something that you(Eddie) would consider?

Here are my weapon variant rules:
The battle axe is now more versatile, usable as a one or two handed weapon, similar to a bastard sword.
one-handed damage: 1-8 / 1-10 two-handed damage: 2-8 / 2-12
The crossbow has been upgraded to reflect its damage potential. Rate of fire remains the same.
Heavy crossbow damage: 1-10 / 1-8 Light crossbow damage: 2-8 / 2-5 {usable by thieves}
