The slashes make it look like Marcus and Lewis are multi-classed, as opposed to them each having some XP total less than 4001 and 1501, respectively.
So, I guess we don't have any decisions to make, right? We press on to the Warlock Stone, maybe try to set up some pickets, trenches or other fortifications, and then wait until the new moon.

The party is at the moment outside the Forest of Night, having travelled 3 hexes across the moors already today (Day 10) and, if the map is accurate, probably will not reach the Warlock Stone until well after nightfall. The slashes make it look like Marcus and Lewis are multi-classed, as opposed to them each having some XP total less than 4001 and 1501, respectively.. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT

And the new moon will be Day 12? 14? Didn't we find the note on a full moon? That suggests Day 14.

And the new moon will be Day 12? 14? Didn't we find the note on a full moon? That suggests Day 14. If only you had notes filled with astronomical calculations and stellar algorithms... 29th - heroes arrive in Willowsby, town raided 30th - orc caves counter-raided, King's Festival celebrated (Full Moon) 1st - festivities (identification of magic items) 2nd - festivities (identification of magic items) 3rd - adventure beneath the church (dwarven plate acquired) 4th - orc cave redux "the ruins beneath!" Mr. Trommer's Run (Waning Gibbous moon) 5th - fortuneteller, off to Devonshire! 6th - a day in Devonshire (church armory, thieves guild, etc) 7th - to the Warlock Stone! (Last Quarter Moon) 8th - across the moors, to the Forest of Night 9th - 10th - 11th - 12th - 13th - 14th - (new moon?) 15th - (new moon?) 16th - (new moon?)

Great. So it look's like we'll have plenty of time to dig in and disrupt the proceedings.

If we are in no rush and we don't want to be traveling after dark then we could wait until tomorrow to cross the Forest of Night. We could set up camp at the edge of the forest and Finnious could spend the rest of the day identifying an item. Also Friedrich could rest and level up.
Then we could get up early the next day and make for the Warlock Stone during full daylight.

Awesome. What does all the ****'s mean? Those represent #s you do not know. I thought so. So why are there all of "***" around Friedrich? What don't I know about him?

The stars, I think, are highlighting that Friedrich is the only one to have gained a level this week.

Ummm...do we really want to park ourselves atop the Warlock Stone itself to await whatever beasties arrive? Or would it make more sense to sort of scout it out (we do have a Ranger and an elf with us, after all) first? Maybe we could find a spot to set up an OP/LP or even a really sweet ambush.

Don't forget Daylight Saving Time ends with Saturday. So I'll either be an hour late or an hour early.

Hey all, I woke up sick as a dog. Rather than make the rest of you just as miserable, I'm going to pass today and will see you next weekend.
