I am sure Lee will have a detailed accounting of this week soon but for David's sake here is the condensed summary - found a secret door in the garden, killed a barrack of hobgoblins and goblins, killed a couple of ogres, found a Bag of Holding and a bunch of gold, freed some halflings, rested, killed some centipedes, took gems from the eyes of another statue in the Rapture, killed a wolf, found stairs leading down, left the building, killed some goblins and rescued the halflings again, explored the rose garden, returned to the Hall of the Fallen, detected magic, have two magic shields, slept for 8 hours.
I think only one person was knocked unconscious the whole time (Basil by an ogre). We have basically searched the whole above ground section of the map. There is still one part of the map that we think has a secret passage but we haven't found the entrance.
Any plans for next week other than heading down the stairs?

Rensslaer, Basil, Kazan, and Zinc make 2nd level. Morvan does not. Nice. It's "go time." There is still one part of the map that we think has a secret passage but we haven't found the entrance. Any plans for next week other than heading down the stairs? Check the barracks and see if we can't find the secret passage we think is there. Give the magic shield Morvan isn't using to Zinc or Basil. Probably Basil, giving him AC -1 or better. If the party think its a good idea, and I'm not advocating for it, head back to Fort Guy and purchase Morvan some decent armor/inform the Fort commander of threat posed by the hobgoblin army. We have evidence that they're stockpiling weapons and supplies. Maybe we can get some flasks of oil, holy water, more torches, and other useful provisions. Sell off a ton of hobgoblin weapons and armor to pay for our passage back to the Hill.

I would rathre press on. A good cunk of the cash would be spent on another round trip across the Shrill if we went back.

After the "makes 2nd level" the rest of the summary is just icing on the cake.
It seems to me that Basil and Renn should take the two magic shields. Kazan can't use them, and Morvin and Zinc tend to use crossbows.

Jeez, writing takes a long time. I did a lot of editing for Campaign 1, Week 2. I still haven't touched the final battle.

Yes, yes it does. Week 5 could be titled "How I spent my Labor Day." The prior two write ups took two evenings each. My hat is off for Dana's efforts.

Jeez, writing takes a long time. I did a lot of editing for Campaign 1, Week 2. I still haven't touched the final battle. I didn't want to be left out of the free xp, so I added some flavorful text and completed the final battle. I took some liberties, not remembering exactly how it all went down. Any objections or corrections before posting it in the Campaign Journal? 5% for Josh, David and myself? 10% for Lee?

Any objections or corrections before posting it in the Campaign Journal? 5% for Josh, David and myself? 10% for Lee? Nothing for me on this one. Other than setting up the template and the links I haven't done anything for version 1. For version 2 I have worked on weeks 1 and 2. But they are not complete.
