If I remember correctly Cedru and Hugh need to get training spell level. Does or will anyone else?

Barring exceptional circumstances, Dell will never need to train again. Jasper might need training by now, but that's the only one I can think of. The inn needs some expansion - a back way out, some more secret doors - stuff like that.
I don't think we should buy any more spells - we have plenty of evil wizard enemies - I'm sure their spellbooks are just loaded with things to take.

I agree with the not buying spells. I thought that we might want to use some of the excellent hides we have collected to get our spells books covered. That way they will have a better chance of saving. I might also be able to make some scrolls of the micellaneous spells we never have memorized. I also need to create some travelling spell books. So you might want to invest in some materials so I can make you some scrolls. There are probably more things I'd like to do like get proficient in binding wounds or horsemanship than we will I will have time for. I could just spend time reading the Necton Fragements.
How long will Raven need to rest after he gets raised? I guess I should also ask if Death's Door just delay's our requirement to do the same.

At the very least we should make some clothes out of it. Nothing says "badass" like dragonskin boots - except maybe demonskin boots.

Let's not get in to matching outfits thing. But we have Max around to coordinate us and do our colors and everything. We have an unmined source of fancibility - I say we tap into it.

Hmm, would Raven be able to collect enough of the dragon scales for a set of field plate? It does sound like with Max and Dell's fashion sense we could upgrade our image some.
I forgot to ask what can you make out of the dragon blood? I would think we could collect a couple of gallons.

I'd expect that having the dragon or demon hide made into armor would be prohibitively expensive. Still, we should look into it. I forgot to ask what can you make out of the dragon blood? I would think we could collect a couple of gallons. Well, we have its brain, so we could probably have a potion of Green Dragon control made.

No Proction from Acid potions?
Wasn't the momma dragon in the swamp a green?

Swamp dragons are different from Green dragons. It takes at least a weak to recover from raising, and Death's door won't help. Field plate takes a number of months to make, and is probably worse than magical plate.
Also, Jasper needs to train every level, for the next 6 or so levels. It we got more than 10,000 experience from the dragon, he'll level up and need training.

What do you say that instead of getting Raven raised, we get him reincarnated? Wouldn't it be cool if Raven were... a troll? Or an Ogre Mage? Or an elf?

That does sound like an interesting possibility.

Well, the berserker rage he flies into when he realizes what you guys have done would be pretty sweet.

Well, the berserker rage he flies into when he realizes what you guys have done would be pretty sweet. For maximum funny, he'd be a halfling - and therefore unable to use the longbow.

If I remember correctly Cedrus and Hugh need to get training spell level. Does or will anyone else? Cedrus and Hugh will both need to be trained. Cedrus can train at the Pelorites in Longspear, though it will take him longer and cost more. Hugh, of course, can train at the Temple of Trithereon. Cedrus's training costs total 6400 GP. Apparently Cedrus is a poor student for some unknown reason. He argues frequently with his tutors. Hugh's training costs total 1000 GP. He also is informed of the need to tithe to the Church. Arthurus, the high priest, suggests 80% of his gross earnings, but chatter around the temple says that Arthurus is generally happy with only 50% of the gross. Arthurus is especially interested, by the way, in what amounts the Company is willing to tithe, especially Winthrop and Alouicious. who were brought back from the dead by Trithereon.

I thought that we might want to use some of the excellent hides we have collected to get our spells books covered. ... I might also be able to make some scrolls of the micellaneous spells we never have memorized. I also need to create some travelling spell books. There are probably more things I'd like to do like get proficient in binding wounds or horsemanship than we will I will have time for. How long will Raven need to rest after he gets raised? I guess I should also ask if Death's Door just delay's our requirement to do the same. Assume a cost of 200 GP to cover a standard spellbook and a cost of 100 GP to cover a travelling spellbook with any hide or skin you currently have. A spellbook may not be bound by multiple hides. Backpacks or sacks of similar material cost 400 GP and 300 GP equivalently (I'm using their carrying capacity as the construction cost here). In all cases, the materials will get a +2 saving throw bonus against the appropriate special effect and a general +1 saving throw bonus. Writing of scrolls takes 1 day per level of the spell, at a cost of 100 GP in spell-quality ink. The mage can do nothing else on those days but write the scroll. Up to seven spells can be placed on a single scroll. The chance of failure is equal to 20% + level of spell - level of magic user. This can be modified downwards by 5% by use of vellum as scroll material and upwards by 5% by us of papyrus as scroll material. Failure in writing a spell ruins that spell and stops the writing of further spells on the scroll. Travelling spellbooks cost 550 GP in Longspear, 500 GP in Monmurg. Cost for training a non-combat proficiency, such as bind wounds or horsemanship, from someone in the party is 50 GP each and takes 1-10 days. Death's Door doesn't help those who were dead and raised. They are invalids for 6 + 1d4 days after raising from the dead. Death's Door removes the rest requirement from those who have fallen below -3. It does not come back later.

Hmm, would Raven be able to collect enough of the dragon scales for a set of field plate? I forgot to ask what can you make out of the dragon blood? The use of dragon scales, which you have a whole bunch of, in armor would fall under the category of creation of a magical item. You would need to find a 12th level mage or an 11th level cleric to do so. Good question about what you can make out of dragon blood. A mage at 7th level or above, with the aid of an alchemist, can concoct potions. Potions relating to dragons are the obvious ones, but if you can come up with a good rationale for something else, I'm open to hearing it. Costs for potion making are equal to the XP value of the potion, times 1.5 if using an alchemist as well. For every 100 XP value of the potion, rounding upwards, it takes one day to make the potion.

Field plate takes a number of months to make, and is probably worse than magical plate. Also, Jasper needs to train every level, for the next 6 or so levels. Field plate is AC 2 and has a 9" movement rate. Also, from UA, Field Plate Armor consists of light, interlocked plates covering the entire body and includes full visored helm, gauntlets, and armored boots. Because of its well-balanced construction, it is only as bulky as chain mail, but provides protection that is superior to plate mail. Field plate must be fitted to its wearer by a skilled armor, and (if non-magical) can only be worn by the character for whom it has been manufactured. In addition, field plate armor has the ability to absorb damage. For every die of damage that would be inflicted upon the wearer from any attack, physical or magical, the armor will absorb 1 point of that damage. (On a damage die roll of 1, the wearer would take no damage.)
For example, the armor will absorb 1 point of damage from the strike of a long sword, and the damage from an ice storm (3-30, or 3d10) would be reduced by 3 points, and the damage from the breath weapon of a 9 HD dragon is reduced by 9 points. However, after the armor absorbs 12 points of damage in this fashion, it is damaged and must be repaired. Until repairs are made, it cannot absorb further damage and is considered one armor class worse in protective power.
Damaged field plate armor may be repaired by a trained armor at a cost of 100 gp per point of absorbing power restored, and one day of time per point restored. We also decided that damaged field plate could be mended as the spell. Jasper will require 500 GP if he is to be trained outside of Saltmarsh. He is already indebted to the monastery to perform a service and it would be unwise for him to show up without funds.
