1. Samantha, Dell and Winthrop and the surviving henchmen can try to mount a rescue mission of those not killed. Of the party, the following won't be rescuable: Cedrus - killed Hugh - killed Pffifwin - killed Antonus - killed Adler - killed Jasper - killed Al - killed The next few may or may not bleed to death: Florin- negatives (possibly dead unless ghouls bandaged him) Perrin - negatives (possibly dead unless ghouls bandaged him) Otto - 0 or negatives (not sure how much damage he took after being paralyzed) (possibly dead unless ghouls bandaged him) That leaves these last three who could conceivably be rescued: Raven - 0 Solaria - 0 Grizela - negative something and regenerating : (

Option 4) The undead kill the remaining characters and leave our items in amongst the refuse. Then Winthrop and Dell kill the undead and recover the magic items (including the rod of resurrection) and body parts. Once back home we use the rod and the caduceus to bring people back.
How quickly does it take for a person killed by a ghoul to become one? I think it is at least a day. Wraiths are much faster I believe.

Hispek said the caduceus only works when you have the full body. That's why I was insistent that we drag the 550 pound lizard corpse. I was hoping he was wrong, which is why I settled for a hand, but you never know. Also, the room was filled with scraps of decayed flesh. We'd almost certainly bring up someone else too.
Which might not be a bad thing.
