Perrin should have bounced off the gate when he tried to run back through the obsidian brontosaurus gate. All evidence points to the color not influencing the destination of the gate. The next stop on the portal system is Infinity. I kind of want to go there.

So that would bring us full circle? Castle -> Jungle -> Gnitrax -> Infinity -> Castle
I wonder why there is a gate in the middle of the jungle. You would think there was a destination if someone went to the trouble to set up a gate.

Maybe there was something there long ago and it's been overcome by the jungle and the proto-dragons. Also, near the dragon lair was a large pillar that looked like the pillar that housed the jungle gate. When we got near it, we could see that it was actually a petrified brontosaurus. Assuming that there was something nasty nearby, we left quickly.

I don't think any wizard that could construct a gate is going to travel another 5 hours to get to his destination if he could put the gate wherever he wants. I am sure there is some reason it was located there but it will likely remain a mystery.

We didn't conduct a thorough search of the area, there might have been more ruins. Also, Otto learned that humanoid creatures nested in the trees- maybe there was a tree-city that we never even noticed.

Some questions- What is our goal in this dinosaur-filled land? We agreed to investigate the castle and though we didn't learn anything we did find some interesting items. This last session we spent grubbing through the muddy lair of some "proto-dragons" for semi-precious gemstones and a pile of electrum and silver coins. Which, if you ask me, wasn't really worth our time. Do we continue experimenting with the portals? Do we go back to Neshfal and try to get the information promised to us by the Guild? Honestly, how are we getting home? How are we continuing to pursue the Great Druid when the trail has become so cold? Do we have to worry about the Leomund's Secret Chests being lost forever in the Ethereal Plane? Should we try to find the "Lizard Wizard?" I don't think there is going to be a quick way home and we might lose everything in the Chests. I would guess that Mistress Nagy and her drow contacts are the only way out of this world. And that would lead us back to the Demonweb which is likely the quickest way to finding the Great Druid. The portal system may provide another route off this world but Infinity is the only destination we haven't been to. Everything else appears to be local. I say we learn what we can from the lizardmen, get supplies and finish identifying the items if pearls can be found. Then we go through the portal to Infinity. Hopefully that will give us more options. Question: When Antonus was sitting on the throne in the castle and observing the various worlds did the window change for everyone or just the person on the throne? Did we try tossing anything through the window to see if it traveled to the location shown?

The window was just a movie screen. If you touched it the pictures was a bit deformed where your fingers disturbed the screen.
I think it's too hasty to know what to do until we hear whatever the lizardmen have to say. Maybe they know more about the gate, or know where the drow gates are hidden.
Here's something else to think about. For us, the magical statue was there to keep us from leaving the castle through the gate. However, its primary purpose might have been to instantly kill anything which came through the gate.

Do we know if we are in Gnitrax? Do we have anyway to communicate outside of tongues? FYI, according to the DMG lizardman shamans can reach 7th level and Tongues is one of the few fourth level spells they are allowed to use. If we're lucky, they'll be able to cast the spell themselves and save some time.
