Hopefully remapping the complex will help us get a better sense of what's going on. We also might want to task Fido with following the scent of the Troglodytes back to their lair.

Hopefully remapping the complex will help us get a better sense of what's going on. One would think... Work is slow today. The headbands are of differing colors. The veins in the walls may correspond? The entrance room was multicolored. The altar with the phase spiders (green), the altar with the hands (golden) the throne room (black?), the summoning room (red) the room with the statues and headbands (purple)

Whoa, someone gets a gold star! Yeah, that's definitely not especially helpful.

The map looks pretty useful to me. That's some nice work.
Since we already found a Gold, Purple, Red and Green room (and maybe Black throne room), we know there are 3-4 more colored rooms to find. If the complex is symmetrical, the other 4 rooms might be off another corridor in the entryway.

So, is the eastern side of the complex is solid rock? Or is there a door that we haven't found yet?

The green room should be checked over.
Same with the entryway.
Everything else is pretty much accounted for, unless we are to sweep all the pits and corridors for secret doors.
If no doors can be found we'll have to experiment with the headbands and summoning circle. Or figure out how to majigulate these spider eye gizmos.
I'm not sure what that word means but it fits.

With regards to the pit traps. They are ten feet wide and ten feet deep and ten feet long, only five feet of which are in the gold octagonal room. It appears as if the pits extend under the wall. Sorry if that wasn't clear from my explanation.
