Time for a well deserved vacation. Everyone gets around 8,000 GP to spend themselves, with the remaining 20,000 or so in the bank to cover other expenses.
During the vacation, the following training will need to take place: Everyone in the Party must learn to bind wounds. This is non-negotiable. If I have to hire someone to charm you and make you learn, I'll do it. You can refuse to carry treatments or refuse to ever bind anyone's wounds, but you must learn.
Everyone in the Party must also learn Horsemanship. Fighting on horseback is very handy. Spell-casting from horseback too. They only reason people haven't learned this is that they haven't remembered to.

Winthrop gets no money on this deal, due to his previous debts to the party. His share goes to the company fund. The company fund will be used to pay for all the training, buy us more rope... that sort of thing.
Any ideas on what new spells we should get? Dell wants Wall of Ice.

Cloudkill- We have a no-breathing stone and numerous high-level characters who could ignore the cloud.
Sending - Numerous uses. We could inform our employers when we've finished jobs, or if we need reinforcements.
Cone of Cold/Ice Storm: Druids don't get protection for cold, do they?
Hold Monster: Obvious
Extension: Obvious.
Massmorph: Good for ambushing raiders.
Wizard Eye: Obvious
Friends/Shatter: For the ring of spell storing. Even though they're pretty useless, they'll be cheap and won't require forgoing another spell.

Okay then. Mr. DM, we would like the prices on these spells:
Charm Monster, Confusion, Dig, Dimension Door, Extension, Fear, Fire Shield, Ice Storm, Wall of Fire, Wall of Ice, Wizard eye, Cloudkill, Conjure Elemental, Cone of Cold, Feeblemind, Hold Monster, Telekinesis, Wall of Force, Wall of Iron, Wall of Stone, Avoidance/Attraction, Sending, Friends and Shatter.
Also, it's probably a good time to commission a Secret Chest to be built.

Do we want to spend company funds to create any potions out of the troll blood?

We should get quotes for anything we can make from any of the reagents we have. Dragon stuff, troll stuff, whatever.

What about getting spell books rebound with more damage resistant hides?

What about commissioning a suit of field plate? I don't think we have anyone that would want it, except maybe Diego. And we're not spending that kind of money on Diego.

Speaking on Diego's behalf I think he would like a 16 Strength bow that he can use when not endowed by Winthrop. Also he should retrain his scimitar proficiency. We don't come across magical scimitars very often so he should train in something we have surplus of.

Longsword of the Hart? That's the only spare weapon we've got.
Max should also buy Al's magical mace (which has never been identified, FYI) from him. With his +3 axe and spare magical dagger, he'll never need it. Hopefully he'll be willing to part with it now that we're going to the dwarven stronghold at his request.

I would be a fan of getting Al's mace identified and purchasing it from him if it's worthwhile.
What else should this cleric be doing with his time? Other than perhaps learning Horsemanship, I can't really think of much. Suggestions?

Design an exquisitely fancible insignia for the Company.

You might be able to get the scorch marks off you armor and get the company logo emblazoned on it.

Donate lots of money to your church. Maybe when you die, they'll have a holiday for you.

Maybe we can arrange for Max to die on Ross Day, so the Pelorites will rename it "Company of the Blue Sun Day."

Hugh is very pleased to see that Raven is back with a vengence. He looks forward to speaking to him more about this return to the right path. An excellent gesture would be to donate enough gold for a new bell. Hugh can't wait to write a letter to his superiors about Raven's new attitude.

An excellent gesture would be to donate enough gold for a new bell. Hugh can't wait to write a letter to his superiors about Raven's new attitude. I totally would have done that, except that all the coin is in electrum and platinum. Being respectful of Tritherion, I wouldn't sully his church with my inferior, non-gold coins.

I'm, glad you that way. Trithereon would be happy to accept any coinage. We are well versed in exchanging it for the proper element. Since from my brief experience I know the Blue Sun will quickly exchange the electrum for a higher denomination we can get the gold at that time. So don't view that as a problem. Just think of the songs that will be sung about the Blue Sun after your tithe for a very large bell. I'm sure thatit will surpass the minor acclaim of Ross Day that I've heard mentioned.

If you ask me, the church of Tritherion already has too much of our money. They ring those big stupid bells, and I like to sleep in. I used to favor them before, but that was the old Dell. These days, I'm all for Wee Jas.

Hmm, maybe Hugh should follow the lead of Cedrus about healing Dell. That would be a fine act of retribution for that attitude. You can never have enough bells to ring and the bigger the better.

If Hugh tries something like that, he'll find out the true meaning of retribution. I will hurt him so much that he will develop a pain dependency. He will spend the rest of his days begging people to beat him, simply because he won't remember what it feels like to not hurt.

Ooh Hugh might like that. Revenge bell ringing. Hmm, maybe Hugh will get a tiny gold bell that he could ring while we travel around. Now that is an idea...

He also is unwilling to sell things that could destroy the city. Leomund's chest will cost 5,000 GP and take 25 days to manufacture, along with its replica.

We should get quotes for anything we can make from any of the reagents we have. Dragon stuff, troll stuff, whatever. A mage at 7th level or above, with the aid of an alchemist, can concoct potions. Potions relating to dragons are the obvious ones, but if you can come up with a good rationale for something else, I'm open to hearing it. Costs for potion making are equal to the XP value of the potion, times 1.5 if using an alchemist as well. For every 100 XP value of the potion, rounding upwards, it takes one day to make the potion.
