Fin thinks the bad guys need to watch out for US. He sez "we seem to spend a lot of time worrying about how other folks will see us, and not enough worrying about ourselves."
Fin's also all for burning the bodies in place and letting the gods sort it out. We just got all that oil and tinder boxes et al from the goblins. How are we going to react if we take the dead bodies back to where ever and they reanimate on the return trip? Think the Walking Dead meets Animal House. No thanks.
He reiterates his suggestion to use the goblin to trip the membrane/magic trap. Fin's willing to let him go free if he agrees to go through the membrane. If he doesn't, Fin's always wanted to see if the rumors are true about goblin's stomachs containing pearls.

We are like 3 rounds into the big battle around the ship. Unfortunately we had some terrible initiative rolls. Haffrung is 70' in the air and we have lost our aerial support. Haffrung has dropped two fireballs on the ship. Haddiq and Mamnoon are dead. Youssef, Azhbar, Furio and Murkey are all unconscious. We have slowed Haffrung and silenced the area around him. It is going to be at least 4 rounds before he can attack again. We are doing a pretty good job on the trolls. There is a medusa archer who hasn't turned anyone to stone. Nordel is still up but pretty low on hit points. Colby and Mary are still memorizing in the hold but they are aware things aren't going well. Dan's next act will be a lesser orison.
BTW, I think Haffrung is using Magic Jar to transfer his consciousness to different bodies. So even if we kill this body he can just move back to his own body (so long as he is within range of his magic jar and assuming this is not his own body).

Magic Jar sounds right.
Colby cast Polymorph Self last round. This round, he'll go out up top and assess the situation.

Hey, sounds like the usual desperate situation! Fin's still itching to lob a few of his brimstone grenades.

He got the chance earlier in the day. 4d8 shredding everything in a 2" radius. Pretty nasty.

Sweet. If there're a few fingers or ears left, maybe Fin should make a necklace.

Good photos. I think Youssef and Nordel are in the hold with Mary and Colby. Haidar is still asleep AFAIK. The others at the side of the board are at the constabulary. I guess they could come to our aid though it looks like the mercenaries can keep the trolls down for the most part until we can burn them. I only see two trolls up. We just need to concentrate on the Helleyes before he flees. He is slowed this coming round. Ingrid can try lightning bolting the medusa again.

Someone with decent HP could grab the khopesh granting immunity from petrification from Azhbar and charge the medusa.

Haidar is still asleep AFAIK. He has been asleep for 8 hours, but I think it has not yet been 16, so if someone were to wake him up, he would be 2nd/2nd, with a few extra HP, and could maybe get off one or two blasts with the rod of whatsis [edit: wand of paralyzation or rod of terror] before going down. Does anyone think that's needed? How desperate is the situation?

The wand of paralyzation would be useful against the wizard or medusa. I don't think the rod of terror is needed at the moment. Assuming Haidar hasn't hidden it, someone could just grab it and let him sleep.
We should amend our SOP to indicate if someone else gets one of your items while you are asleep. Dan gave Ingrid the crystal hammer while she was guarding and he was resting/memorizing.

Assuming Haidar hasn't hidden it, someone could just grab it and let him sleep. Haidar hasn't hidden it. Anyone who would like to grab it is welcome to it.
