That is your imagination. HA! Friedrich thanks Colby for the 2,000 GP loan. He will use the carpet and fly back to Colby, and subsequently return to Fenhold. Colby should now have a 2,000GP IOU on his character sheet which I will redeem ASAP. Thanks.

I will shift the money from party accounts so no IOU is necessary.
Friedrich is trusting young Niall with a lot of money and responsibility.
What are his final instructions?

I will shift the money from party accounts so no IOU is necessary. Friedrich is trusting young Niall with a lot of money and responsibility. What are his final instructions? Well I guess at this point his final instructions are to look and make sure that the causeway is being built and I let him know that the engineer/architect has been paid 3 months upfront. The mercenary company has also been paid for three months. If I am gone longer than that, pay the mercenary company another month (700GP) and the engineer/architect for another month (100 GP), Assuming I'm back within 4 months (which is the plan) this leaves Niall 1596 GP to cover incidentals and most importantly, labor costs. I know that this is the most responsibility he's ever had and Fendhold still has a while to go until it is transformed into 14th century Venice but I'm confident that he will rise to the occasion and run Fenhold to the best of his abilities while I'm gone. Pros - There is now a garrison to defend Fenhold
- The causeway project should be able to get off the ground at this point
- Other Fenholdites should now have a chance to get some employment
- There is actually money in the coffers
- The merchant house is now down to 2,735 GP (55350SP) and hopefully they will chill out now that they've been paid a good portion of the debt with a promise to be paid the rest + interest in a timely fashion
Cons - I totally dropped the ball on the elf letter posted on the tree
- The old man is still wandering the countryside
- Tales of a giant lizard are scaring the peasants
Rome wasn't built in a day.

Cons - The old man is still wandering the countryside
Rome wasn't built in a day. He's not an old man, he's a revenant--an undead fiend.
