"beacon to evil creatures" sounds an awful lot like "XP magnet" to me...

"beacon to evil creatures" sounds an awful lot like "XP magnet" to me... My thoughts exactly. In addition the gauntlet's magnetic attraction to XP, it also seems to have an attraction to magic bastard swords, spell books, magic rings, magic necklaces....

So you want to just carry this thing around forever? I am not a fan of having someone always hunting us down. Preparing ambushes every time we cross a river. They will just keep escalating the forces they send against us. We are still a relatively low-level party.
Also destroying an evil artifact once and for all has got to be some serious xp.

So, let's assume the all-knowing Masque can tell us how to destroy the gauntlet. What next? I'd prioritize 1) Going to the Vernal House 2) Fulfiling our pledge to the druid 3)Rescuing Hadrith Tor.

I think exploring the evil temple in the orc caves and then completing whatever adventure is needed to destroy the gauntlet will likely take a full session if not more. After that I would order options according to most pressing and affecting the most people: 1) Hadraith Tor: lost to an invading army that is threatening to overrun Willowsby. 2) Vernal House: save the abbot, find Friedrich's shadow, prevent the Deadites from finding Red Tam's bones. 3) Druids' Council: resolve some long term issue with the elves.

My vote: 1) Destroying the gauntlet. 2) Vernal House - What is it that we are looking for in it? 3) Red Tam 4) Hadraith Tor 5) Druids - this is probably a whole new unrelated adventure from the plot hooks above.
We might try getting a cleric to try a few Remove Curses on Friedrick. Given the amount of time my characters have been cursed it is probably worth a few tries.

I think that Red Tam's bones are in the Vernal House, or at least associated with it.
But first things first, we're in Willowsby, so we should finish up the caves to the north and ask some questions of the all-knowing Masque.
